Image Size Overlay is a Chrome extension created by Alen Todorov. This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used when you install and use the extension.

Data Collection

Image Size Overlay does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The extension runs entirely within your browser tab and inspects only the images that are already loaded on the page you are viewing.

How the Extension Works

• When you click the toolbar button, the extension highlights every <img> element by adding a temporary overlay with its natural dimensions and estimated file size.
• The extension makes HEAD or range requests directly from your browser to estimate each image’s file size. These requests go only to the same servers that host the images; no data is sent to third parties.
• Clicking the button again removes every overlay. No information leaves the current tab at any point.

Third-Party Services

Image Size Overlay does not rely on analytics services, advertising networks, external APIs, or other third parties that access your data.
